Judges’ Instructions
Thank you for agreeing to participate as a judge in the 2008 College
of Sciences Undergraduate Research Poster Competition.
General instructions
for the judges follow. To see
the criteria that will be used to judge each poster, please click
here.
Instructions for
2008 Poster Competition Judges:
The Judge’s Packet will be mailed to you the week before
the event. You will be asked to judge 2 to 3 posters. Your packet
will include a list of the posters you will be judging and scorecards.
The scorecards will not be shared with the student presenters.
Your packet will
also contain a comment sheet for each poster. We hope you will record
constructive comments that can be passed on to the students on these
sheets. The comment sheets will be returned to the students in a
sealed envelope after the awards are made. The student researchers
have told us they appreciate this feedback.
As you make your evaluations, consideration should be given to the depth and complexity of the research projects. Please remember our competitors are undergraduates.
