College of Sciences Dean’s Leadership Council

The Dean’s Leadership Council for the College of Sciences (mission statement) provides leadership to the College and its programs through advising and support that advances the quality of academic programs and research in the sciences.

To accomplish their goals, they work

Council members reflect the diverse nature of the State of Washington and College of Sciences alumni and friends. They come from a variety of science disciplines, and provide geographic, ethnic, and gender representation. They serve three-year, renewable terms.

The council meets annually to receive an update on the College and to interact with various College student, faculty and administrative groups. At the conclusion of each meeting members offer individual and collective recommendations to the College leadership. Members are encouraged to assist with strategic fundraising activities and to support the College of Sciences through their own and corporate contributions.
