New! Java Generators

Below are listed several types of Java applets that you may create. Select one, and fill out the form that will be provided. Note that we have created a new Javascript interface for some of these. Eventually we will replace all of the interfaces with Javascript.

Function Plot		Plots functions of one variable. Up to six functions can be plotted on one set of axes.
Function Log Plot		Plots functions of one variable using a semi-log plot. Up to six functions can be plotted on one set of axes.
Solution Plot (1 ODE)		Plots solutions of a single differential equation as a function of t (the independent variable).
Phase Portrait (2 ODEs)		Plots the phase portrait of a pair of differential equations.
Phase Portrait and plots of variables vs. time (2 ODEs)		Plots the phase portrait of a pair of differential equations and plots the dependent variables as a function of t (the independent variable) on separate axes.
Plots of variables vs. time (3 ODEs)		Plots the dependent variables as a function of t (the independent variable) on separate axes.
Iterated Map Plot (2 difference equations)		Plots orbits of (x_n+1,y_n+1)= (f(x_n,y_n),g(x_n,y_n)) in the (x,y) plane.
Two Point Boundary Value Problem		Plots solutions to a second order equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions. Requires JDK 1.1; i.e. Netscape 4.06 or higher.
