Quizzes

There will be 10, multiple choice quizzes given during the
semester administered via the internet.
They will be made available Wednesday afternoons between 3 and 4 pm. They will be made unavailable after 8 am the following Thursday morning. The quizzes will be designed to take 10 minutes for you to complete. One point will be deducted from your score for every minute (or portion of a minute) over 15 minutes between the times you access and submit your quiz. Only your first submission will count for your score. You will access your quizzes from a link on the Math 101 homepage (http://www.sci.wsu.edu/math/101/). The quiz link will connect you to a page on which you will enter your last name and student ID number. Your quiz will be given to you upon name and ID submission. Everyone's quizzes will be different. You are expected to take the quizzes without help from any body else. When you submit your quiz, you are electronically signing off that you have taken your quiz alone. No mercy will be shown to those I find getting help from someone else. If you do not wish to take a quiz via the internet, you may tell me so before or in class the day of the quiz and you will be able to take your quiz on Thursday between 6 and 7 pm during my only fixed office hour.
